Hi friends!

I am going to buy Einstein, but I am not sure, which one to choose. 50 or 100w? Is there any significant difference between them? I mean in the way they sound... It is said the more watts, the better sound, is it true? Thank you for response!!! Jakub

guess it depends on your style. 100 watts have more head room than 50watts and easier to get tube break up in a 50 watt so choice is yours.

First of all, thank you! I see, I prefer playing heavy stuff, but I´d like to have the flexible amplifier as possible, not being able to get VH4 or Herbert now, because of price, which is, 100% adequate, but beyond my current possibilities. Actually, my question is: Does 100w Einstein have a better gained sounds compared to 50w? Thank you again! Jakub

well i can't really comment on that since i dont own a einstien but i do have a herbert and what i got from amp is that the p[ower you have the better focused that sound and tone isbut everything does come down to your style and hands.

I almost bought the 50 but got a really good deal on the 100 watt at GC. I wouldn't worry about early breakup with this amp it has plenty of gain.Your clean channel will be much better with a 100 watt by far and you will have more head room. Also with the 100 watt you can mix the tubes which was a huge factor for me. So get the 100 watt if it's in the budget.

+1. the more headroom, the bigger and badder it sounds. and a mix of 6l6s and El34s sound great to these ears...
