Hello folks!

I've been searching online for this amp for a while now, and judging by how few I've seen, they
seem to be pretty rare. I know they are discontinued, and that's probably the reason why
they are so hard to find, but does anyone know roughly how many Einstein combos were
made in total? Or if this information is even available to the public?

I've got one!!! 2nd variant G12K-100 open back cabinet. Its a beauty. Best thing I ever bought in relation to guitars.

Possibly in relation to anything!!!!

Can't see me ever getting rid of it, unless at some point I just can't lift it anymore..... Heavy brute...

I have one for sale. PM me If interested.

I'm not looking for one to buy, as I already have one.
I was just wondering how rare of an amp it was, that's all :)

You have any photos of the back of yours? I have one as well, but it's an older one with V30 and I believe the cabinet design was slightly different. I've always wondered how the cabinet design changed the sound (if at all), besides the speaker of course.

Attached pic of rear of combo. From what I understand the cab was a totally new design, not just the open/closed back nature.

I had a closed back version briefly, but it developed a fault within days so I returned it to the shop. From what I recall it was a different cab entirely.

Not sure about the sonic differences, I recall Peter saying that they just had a far better result with the G12-K100 in the new cab on a different post on here.

As an aside does anyone know why the speaker jack on the internal speaker is a stereo plug? Always wondered about that.

Cheers

Mine is an open-back as well. But the design is still different. I like the design of yours more, though. thanks!

The back of mine is way diff than that.

Yeah that's how most of them are from what I can tell. Mine's like that. The one above is the newer version. But not sure how many of those are out there since the Einstein was discontinued. Wish I could try one with the newer cabinet.

When I said closed back that what I meant. With the cut out at the top.

I think there were only two variants.

I expect they sound pretty similar but the K100 speaker will make a pretty big difference.

I have a 1x 12 CAE ext cab that I use at bigger gigs. Thats closed back with an Eminence Governor in it, which is pretty similar to V30. I'm looking for a K100 for that too. Governor is quite gnarly compared to the K100 though the 2 together make for a very full sound.

Are you looking to buy a K100?? I have one sitting in my closet if your interested? PM me.
