Hello, I am new to this forum. I recently purchased a 50 watt Einstein Head. :) I am extremely excited to get out and gig with my new prize. :D Ive been in the market and looking for an Einstein for around three years now and finally have been able to shell out the cash to step up to this level of amp. I am a little concerned about customer service. I live in the los angeles area and am aware of and spoken to Salwender. They seem like good people. I have e mailed the Diezel website around four times now for some basic questions, And recieved one email back that i sent around three weeks ago.
I know we are in different time zones , Country ect... But it seems like im being ignored.
Ok i'll get to the point. I need to know if any two button footswitch with a TRS cable will work for channel switching as well as master 1 and 2. Also does the einstien footswitch which i am still waiting for have LEDs on it ? are they powered by the amp ? One more question my serial # is 002-89 can someone tell me the approx date of manufacture

a) do you have the correct email adresses?
b) did you contact the distributor too?
c) the distr. should be pretty "close" to you, no - and should have a phone
d) yes, the footswitches have LEDs powered from the amp. You may want to guess their color :D

Enjoy your amp ! Its a monster !

And welcome to the place where company and users are trying to help each other ;)

Thanks so much for your quick answer. Yes she is a monster
One question can i use any two button footswitch with a TRS cable

One other suggestion is to contact Tone Merchants. I believe they are an authorized Diezel dealer in Orange county. They have a lot of experience with Diezel amps and should easily be able to answer any questions you may have about your new Einstein.
Congradulations and welcome to the B.O.D. (Brotherhood of Diezel).

89 is a low number, pretty early model I'd say. 2005 or 2006.
