2nd Einstein Combo bought. First one didn't go well, returned to point of purchase. This one seems trouble free. Can you date this serial number? 004 3/13.

Also this has semi open back and G12K-100. Previous unit it was a v30 and closed back. When was this change made and what reason for the change of speaker choice?

Also first one had LED's in foot switches. New one doesn't? Why?

Great sounding amp (1 rehearsal in) and very inspirational tones.

Regards

Welcome to the board.

This amp was delivered on March 11, 2010 to Diezel UK.
K 100 because it sounds better in the housing and no
more LED´s because the footswitch manufacture has
changed.

Best,

Peter

Thanks Peter.

Few more questions if you would be so kind. in the bias tutorial on Diezel uk it says that there is a screw that can be accessed? "turning the bias pot which is accessible with a little flat head screwdriver through the hole in front of the red jack".

I can't see this? Is it not a feature of the combo? Not that I think it needs re-biasing but I would like to know that its there when I do need to.

Also I would like to add female 1/4 inch sockets to the footswitches so as to avoid strain on the cables, and also so I can make set up easier. I will add these to the cables themselves rather than mount sockets in the switch body but can you tell me how the Master/Channel switch is wired? Which connection is tip, sleeve and which is ring?

Would be a great help if you can assist.

Is it possible do you think to retrofit LED's to the footswitches? If so where do I get the super bright Diezel LED's from?

Thanks Peter

There is a hole in the chassis on the top.
Chassis is built in reverse.

Tip of the plug is channel, ring is master.

Best regards,

Peter

I expect this hole for bias adjustment is covered with a rubber bung?

Thanks for advice re footswitch? Can they be modded for LED do you think?

Okay. Thanks for that Peter. Now I am sorry to be a pain but how would I modify the footswitch for LED addition? Where would I attach the LED connectors? More importantly where can I get some super bright blue Diezel LED's?

Appreciate your help.
