Today i played on my einstein for about an hour or two with no problems and an hour later after i stopped I wanted to play some more (because its so much fun) and without thinking i accidentally hit the standby and power switch at the same time. The blue led flashed on then right off and shut down. There is absolutely no sign of life in it when i try to turn it on. If anyone has an idea of what i could do or check out i would be very grateful. Thank you very much for your time.

Ok, the mains fuse was blown. I replaced and when i powered on everything lit up like new and when i threw the standby to run after the warmup it blew the new mains fuse. Where do i go from here?

no i havent replaced the power tubes. Do i need to? the lights didnt come on in the back and the tube fuses did not blow.

Thank you Peter & everyone. I just ordered 4 new Ruby EL34BHT's.
I will let you know how it goes.

Update: I tried a newer fuse and my amp fired back up. Should i still be weary of the tubes and replace them still or should i just keep playing? Thank you

Scott

I'd get a new set of tubes anyway (and spare fuses). If it stays healthy with this set, ok - if the fuse blows again: replace and don't forget to rebias the amp to the new tubes - see off. website "tech" corner.
