Hi guys,

Another Rig-Talk noob here asking stupid questions :rock: I bought a new Diezel front-loaded 4x12" cabinet (not yet arrived). My old cabinet is 4x12" Marshall w` Vintage 30's and the loads are mono 4 or 16ohms. I would like to plug both of them in my Einstein, but the problem is that ohms are mismatched because Diezel cab is 8 ohm on mono! Am I right?

Is there some way I can use this set as fullstack? If i understood right the impedance should be (8+16)/2 = 12ohms, how do get out of my Einstein? Or do I destroy my amp if I use 1x16ohm output for Marshall and same time 1x8ohm output for Diezel.?

Thanks

Speaker outs on tubeamps are wired in parallel. So your overall impedance is:

1/r1 + 1/r2 = 1/r total

1/16 + 1/8 = 1/16 + 2/16 = 3/16 --> 5,333 Ohm.

==> So hook both cabs to the 4 Ohm (2x8) speaker outs.

Ok, Thanks. So 5,333ohms is close enough 4ohms.

My own Ohm-theory was bit incorrect :D
