Since yesterday whenever i switch to channel 2 is making a strange noise in the backround!
The amp is brand new and i own it for only 10 days now.

I've uploaded a small audio sample so you could hear what i'm talking about.

Could be a broken preamp tube.

Sounds like it. I had a really similar sound coming from my Framus Cobra a couple weeks ago and it turned out to be the preamp tube for the fx loop.

Thank you for your input guys,my guess was a preamp tube as well, which one i have no idea.
Peter please let me know as soon as you see this topic.

Einstein:

V1 Used by both channels
V2 Used by channel 2
V3 Used by both channels
V4 Mixer & Loop Driver
V5 Return Driver
V6 Phase Inverter
V7 (just combo) Reverb (12AT7)

My best guess is V2.

replace v2.

i ve had the exactly same issue.

dont blame diezel on this (i know you havent ;) ). preamp tubes can be a pain in the ass.

i wish you a live full of joy with your einstein, you are gonna have it :)

So yep it was V2 causing that noise, replaced it and now i have a big smile again! :)

Just for the record the tube i replaced was a TAD 7025/E83CC HG,and just checked the power tubes are 6550C.

Thank you all for your replies!
