Hey everybody,

i'd like to buy me a Diezel Einstein. I'm not quite sure if I should take the 50 or the 100 Watt Top... If anyone tested it, i'd appreciated some inspiration on the differences in Sound.
But the question i actualy have is, wether it's possible to make the three Sounds of Channel One remote controlabale by a Footswitch (in fact i know they are, it's a switch, so it's remotable...;-) but do i have to do that on my own (which woldn't be a big problem, but I don't like the idea of screwing and welding on a 1800 € Amp...^^) or is there someone who can do this???
Second thing i'd like to ask is, if there is a possibility to get the Hall, which is in the Einsten Combo, into the Top???
So that's it, quite alot, but i hope someone can help me...

MfG

Dominik

send duesentrieb a PM, he has a mod for the Einstein footswitchable ch1 modes.

Hi Dominik,
I bought an Einstein 100 head a few months ago, and did the mod by myself. I even made it midi-switchable :D
You can find some info here:

But it is, as Peter said in another thread, a 2-channel amp. You will have different volume levels between mode 1 and 2/3. You can use the second mastervolume and correct it, but it takes some time for the tweaking (especially in live situations), and some footstepping, too.

I can't tell you about the 50W, because I never tried it. It depends on the music you are playing. I have an old 50W Hiwatt, and I felt the need for more headroom, especially for the cleans.

I don't think that you can put a reverb-unit into the head - not much space left there.
Use the loops, and get a good reverbpedal or rack.

Ok, thank you... that helped me a bit... so for the reverb i will have to buy a pedal... (any suggestions by the way???) and perhaps i order the amp directly at peter, and go get it on my own, and not via musicstore... and perhaps for some extra bucks he may do the mod for me... (have to ask him...) so for now you helped me out.
perhaps if Peter reads this he may say something about the space left for the Springreverb...???

MfG
