I remember in another post someone said you have to run the level knob at 100% when in parallel, what's the right way to run a TC G-Force? I tried the Serial and wasn't a big fan of it.

Also if I ever use the bypass on the TC G-Force, does this truly bypass the signal out and make it 100% dry, or will it still affect my tone a bit?

I'll try and report, although my guess is that it is a very good bypass.

btw: is the bypass in the TC unit really a bypass? I cannot imagine that . . .

I think for that unit it just means it turns the FX off.

I think I'll probably try a workaround with it using the GCX.

Maybe try and use one of the loops for the FX send / Return and put the TC in that loop? Then when I turn the loop off it should completely bypass it right?

I had a G-Force and used the parallel loop in my VH4 and Herbert.
To use the parallel loop, for my tastes, I had to adjust the levels of both the G-Force output and the dial for the parallel mix control on the amp to taste until I got what I wanted from the unit, effects-wise.

In my Einstein, I use the serial loop most of the time, as it blends very well with my TC M-300.
However, again, I had to balance the TC unit to taste until I was satisfied with the result, then I locked in the pre-set.
Shutting off the TC unit and removing it from the loop was the only way I could get the tone coloration out of the amp signal.
