I own a einstein 50 head and was curios if there are anyone out there that has had this same experience.
I've recently purchased a 1x12 diezel cab with a vintage 30 in it rated at 16 ohms.
all of my other cabs have allways run 8 ohms.
seems like the 16 ohm 1x12 requires me to push the amp a little harder. is this normal.
im not one that understands the whole ohm thing but i do know it has to do with resistance.
any input would clear my simple mind

If you are used to bigger cabs this might be the feeling you get, since you got used to a bigger sound. Have you had the same issues with your other heads through this cab?

By the way, how good is the new Appettite Les Paul, and the new SD Slash Alnico's???
I have a Slash Goldtop...

yea the Appetite Les Paul fucking rocks, only issues im having are some tuning glitches that i should have worked out soon.
So far i really like the SD Alnico2 pro slash. I dont know what the future holds though, my tastes change constantly
here is a pic of the LP
