One of my bands is recording some covers for the heck of it I just did the first rough mix.

All I've gotta say is you can have my einey if you pry it from my cold dead hands...

Guitars are 85% einstein.

I'd love you guys input. We've been putting alot of work into this.. Recorded in my umm "studio" if you wanna call it that.

Thanks,
-John

Great tone!! Thanks for posting!!

Which channel mode: Channel 1 mode 2 or mode 3 dialed back some?

Powertubes in your Einy- EL34's or other?

Awesome- thanks again.

Appreciate the replies guys!

Channel 1 Texas mode with the gain cranked to 3 o'clock. I used an aria pe with p-90 pickups.
Cabs were a Randall warhead 412 FL with v30s and a 70s Marshall 412 with jauguar 75's

enitre tube loadout is exactly as Peter recommends with Ruby. El34s. I'm from the school of thought that cabs and pickups play a much more important role in tone than tube swaps. I noticed einey changes moods very quick with those changes. I can get a very nice vintage or modded marshallesque sound with the marshall cab and p-90s. The I can use high output pickups and the warhead cab reloaded with g12t-75s and get a fire breathing metal machine.

Happy tone hunting!!
