I've noticed that when I turn the reverb up (even just a little) on my Einstein combo, it takes a bit of the edge off the highs. The sound becomes less fizzy and more full. And I like it. But in order to get this sound, the reverb has to be on.

Peter, I was wondering if this is because the tube is a 12AT7 instead of a 12AX7? And if this is something you've noticed about this amp before? I guess using an EQ in the loop and attenuating the super high frequencies could do the same thing?

I think there are a few models out which
do have that "issue".

On which setting you have enough amount
of reverb ?

Best,
Peter

Serial number is 004/014

I get a good amount of reverb at about 10:00 or so. Reverb really kicks in closer to 12:00. The more reverb, the more high frequencies are lost.
