Got this Triamp cab yesterday, it's a very well built cab with 4xG12M25

Sounds really good. I also thought that Eini sounded great through my 1xG12-65 cab. Guess in general I prefer the Einstein through more vintage sounding cabs, as it gives a nice plexyish crunch in mode 2 and a great creamy, squishy feel on Ch2. Through a V30 loaded cab it doesn't show its biggest strengths IMO.

Einstein + Greenbacks =

I was using the Einstein with a 4x12 cab with greenbacks until recently-I thought it had an amazing sound. Sold the Einstein to get another Diezel (decided on the Herbert after originally ordering a VH4), and now selling the cab. Fantastic combination with the Les Pauls that I use. A little sorry that I let the Einstein go, but I need something a little more flexible for my use, (channel switching and switchable loops).

Anyone want a Modern-Vintage cabinet, formerly owned by Frank Hannon (of Tesla)? 25w Greenbacks, british, not chinese. $350 and prefer local pickup (Sacramento, CA.). Will ship if someone wants it bad ebough.

That's kinda interesting seeing as the 65 are suppose to be greenbacks on steroids, I have a Marshall cab with 65's and run it with an all Vintage 30 loaded Bogner cab sounds GREAT! I have a Herbert though, but still I think if I had to choose one over the other it would be the Vintage 30's, but the 65 really add something, kind of like even more fullness to the already plentiful fullness present in the Herbert, like the V30's great midrange and upper midrange attack and then add the lows and true but smooth highs of the 65's and the 65 have a slightly hollowed upper midrange, really good stuff, complements well.

I had a Marshall cab with the 65's and thought they were one of the best sounding speakers I ever heard-still wish I'd kept the damn thing. I used it for over ten years with modded Marshalls and a couple of others (XTC and SLO), and it was always wonderful. Smooth and very full frequencied, no obnoxious high end, warm definitely.
