So I've had the Shiva for a few weeks now & having used it live five or six times have come to this conclusion..........
Though the Shiva is an awesome amp, the Lead channel just does not even come close to the Einy Ch 2. Even with boost pedal's.....
I love the clean channel of the Shiva & I love the classic crunch of the gain channel, however have been left wanting for my Einstein when it comes time to solo. I run my Einstein on Mode 3 and use my guitar volume knob to clean things up when needed & that along with the incredible Ch 2 for leads seems to cover all the bases I need in a live rig.
It would be awesome to take both rigs to the gigs & run an A/B, however it's not really practical for me & I don't really wanna haul that much shit around anymore!
I think the Shiva is a wonderful piece of equipment & I really like it, however, I gotta throw props once again to Peter & crew for producing such an awesome amplifier in the Einstein!
I know this is all subjective, I just figured I'd throw my .02 of IMHO into the ring........................
