Einstein - your EQ Settings

Hi,

does anyone not uses his Einstein with all knobs at 12 o´clock?
Does anyone uses a distortion pedal together with his Einstein?

At the moment I uses the second channel for rhythm distorted stuff and
the first one for the clean stuff.

I use an Ibanez RBM400 (mahagony corpus) and one lonely EMG81. By putting the mid and the bass knob to
11 o´clock and the treble to 12 I get nearly the same kind of sound as I can get my the third mode of the first channel

In my opinion for humbuckers clean gain should stay at 9 o´clock.

When I checked it out I liked the mids all the way up "dimed". But I like a lot of amps that way. I tend to use a very bass heavy sound. I like thug with high end that just cuts threw on top. The other knobs sounded best in the 11-2 oclock range for what I do. You can cut the mids for that kind of sound. I like that sound for some things. Not like some other amps - It sounded good just about any way you set it. I did not spend a lot of time with it. Easy one of the better amps I have played.
