EL34's came with my VH4?

I thought that Vh4's came stock with 6l6's. However, my amp came with el34's. Im about to switch my tubes. I love the definition of the el34's. Im wondering if I should switch to the 6l6's. What do you guy's think? and why did my vh4 come with el34's?
 
As far as I'm aware they used to come with 6L6's but now come with EL34's. Check the thread "Favorite Power Tubes for your VH4?" for more discussion on which tubes are good to try.
 
I actually saw one in a store recently that came with 6l6's, I asked them if they ordered it that way and they said no, heh? Of course I don't doubt Peter haha.

If you check the manual available at Diezel's site, it states that the VH4 comes stock with 6L6's. This may be something that you have updated Peter. Just a heads up.
