elmwood 3100 vs m60 modena vs other boutique amps?

I've seen both for sale. trying to decide whether to get one.

how do they compare?
also how do they compare to other boutique amps like the xtc diezels etc

can they get creamy? or are they harsh? I heard the clips on here using the search funtion but wasnt as impressed as i was with the you tube vids...i love the youtube demos

A friend of mine recently got a m60. I have to say I fookin love it! Very smooth, creamy saturation!
He also has a couple of 101b's , but he realy likes the modena too.
I'm just waitin for him to sell it (hint!)
I got a VH4, and i love it, but i'd love an m60 too. As good, but different.

I have an einstein but can you compare the amp? how much should i be paying on one? i've been offered one new for 2100 euros shiipped...
