Elmwood Modena 90 or VHT Sig X...

Anyone try the Elmwood yet? The shop in L.A. should be getting one in soon but it sounds like the VHT will be the same thing only with more tweakability...and possibly at least a grand less. The Modena 60 sounds great and the guy at the shop said the 90 is MUCH beefier tone.
 
Ive heard great things about Elmwood modena's.

A guy on youtube, Todd Duane, he owned every top amp there is. (IIC+, Diezel, Bogner, VHT, Soldano's) Everything. And sold it all and kept the Modena.

me personally. I would love to try a Modena out.
 
Yea I saw his review. Did he really sell everything? I know he loves that Modena but still......I would not sell all those killer amps and just keep one.
 
Ask Rufus Leaking. He's the only one that I know of here whose owned one.
 
I really want to try out a Modena 60.

Hopefully I will get an opportunity pretty soon :)

I think hes the guy who traded his to Todd Duane and that was a 60. The 90's have kt88's which is why I think the VHT will be pretty close to this..
