Eminence Delta 12A........what can you tell me?

I guy at work is moving and just gave me a pair of brand new Eminence Delta 12A speakers. These are NOT the Delta Pro 12A's.

The Eminence website describes them as "Recommended for professional audio as a mid-bass or woofer (with high-pass filter) in vented enclosures".

I'm assuming they would be worthless in a guitar cab

Love them, use them for guitar and bass. Huge headroom, giant and low bottom. Pretty flat gives you what you put into it.

I agree when EQ'd right they're great. I use them in sealed back front load 1x12's and a 2x12.

You guys are talking about the 12A and not the Pro 12A.......correct? I might just have to throw them in a sealed 2x12 and find out.

Yes , the 12 a the $89 one. I have mine in a sealed ported combo. They sound great in sealed cabs but the specs actually suggest they should be in ported.
