Hi ya'll, First Question Posting;Woo-Hoo! 
Ok,got an OPEN-back 4 x 12 BognerCab(fed by 20thXTC/6L6)
in X-pattern,Celestion G12H, & anniversaryVintage30 (16ohms).
I'm not into Ultra-Heavy/Fast-Tracking/Surgically-Tight Bass.
And,not really into a 'Marshall-esque' drive.(so Green-Backs are out?)
The basic sound from the cab is good;pretty happy with it's 'niceness'.
What I want to 'accentuate' is
the open-ness and 'connected-ness' that's in the Amp.
And the versatility of clean,to grit,to lead(more American-voiced)
For quite a while I've been considering replacing the upper 2 speakers with:
Celestion Gold Alnico-(in place of V30?)
Eminence EJ1250/EricJohnson Alnico-(in place of G12H?)
.....yep,that'll be 4 different speakers!I'm taking ohm-loading&sensitivity into account.....
Have any of you good-folks tried either of these,or indeed any other
(particularly Alnico) speakers?
Versatility is high on my own priority-list,so the as-yet not tried EricJ. Alnico is
of particular interest, to me.
