I need some good speakers for hard rock... The catch: they got to be eminence though...

I could order the cab unloaded and then import some Celestion. The thing is the market down here is pretty small and everything has to come from abroad with hugh import taxes and stuff. Plus I'll have to make all the necessary arrangments to bring it.
Custom Eminence! I got V30s and Diezel custom Eminence in both my Diezel cabs and I couldn't be happier with the mix.slyvren":1h6v64ot said:Diezel used to have a custom celestion speaker. I'm not sure on those though.

hey, brother
what's the import tax in argentina?
I'm in brazil and buying speakers here is a pain in the a$$
I usually buy celestions from ebay and ask the sellers to declare low values, so they rarely get stuck in the customs
just bought a pair of scumbacks from capulin overdrive here
I also have a pair of brazilian made MG Music Black Dogs and those things are kicking my celestions asses tonewise
they are supposedly close to weber silver bells
kurt mueller cone, aluminum basket, 40 oz magnet, small dust cap, pre-rola style paper bobbins
they sell them as greenback clones, but they have silver bell specs and sound louder and much fatter than the green and blackbacks I had (about 99db)
I'd say it sounds somewhere between a G12M and a G12K100
I can also recommend the new Alien Ace speaker, which is more Vintage 30 oriented
there's also the Snake Vintage 60, but I never heard that one
there's an argentinian old school dude that used to build guitar speakers and amps
I don't know if he's still making speakers, but that man know more about amplification than anyone I've seen
his name is Juan Manuel Fahey
I can get you in contact with him (he's on Orkut)

Hi brother,
That would be awesome, sure would like to talk to that guy.
The import tax is 50% in Argentina its outrageous... Plus you can never be to sure if those custom agents are going to steal your stuff... how about in Brazil?
