Eminence Speakers?

What do you guy's think of the Eminence Speaker's in the FL Diezel cabs?

I really like the Governor but haven't tried it in the Diezel cab and don't feel like I will anytime soon. If you have a pure V30 equipped cab I would give it a try because I liked the Governor a bit better.

I have the Diezel Eminence speakers in my 2x12FL and I love them! Crisp, punchy and they handle the bottom end very, very well. I like the quick reaction of them. They sound great both at high and lower volumes!

As far as I know the Diezel Custom speakers were NOT build by Eminence. That's at least what Peter S. told me.

hmmm.... I talked to Salwender and they said they were Eminence.

I talked to Peter two weeks ago and he told me it was a small manufacturer (I don't remember the name) and the speakers they delivered became worse and worse. He even almost cut of his finger tip once because of sharp edges.

weird...the speakers in my cabinet definitely say eminence on them. and they're awesome. and this was in an american made cab im sure.

I'm not sure if there is a difference between US and European cabs. Might be possible. When I spoke to Peter he didn't mention Eminence at all. That's all I now.

There is no diffrence in the cabs themselves. However, the speaker options are diffrent in German and America. I asked the clerk to see what kinda speakers were in the cab i'm gonna get tomarrow and he said that they were in fact Eminence. I just got a RL with v30's and the two cabs sound spectacular together.

Well, seems there's lots of confusion about the cabs going on at the moment. Hope that will all be history when Peter will start the actual production of the Dillingen made cabs and ship them everywhere.

There shouldn't be any confusion. You have cabs built in the U.S. and cabs built in Germany.

The U.S. Speakers are Eminence or V-30s.

But there won't be any more US build cabs in the future. They will all be build in Dillingen, Germany from now on. Only the remaining US-made stock will be sold.
And for these cabs there will be a FL G12K100, FL V30 and RL V30!

I'm thinking the G12-100K (or Celestion 85s which is what they really are) is going to sound very, very nice!

Yes, both FL cabs are the same.
