Looking at possibly picking up a Blackmore in the near future. I was curious if anyone had any "mid-gain" rock type clips (AC/DC amounts of gain) or at least comments on how the amp sounds for that type of stuff. I've been going back and forth between a Splawn Quickrod and a BM, but I fear the QR might be a bit too bright for me.

Thanks!

No need for clips: both amps can do it, and well

Yeah I figured they would both be pretty good. Guess I can always try one sell it and get the other if I need to.

Thanks, that sounds really good. I'm really digging your band!

thanks mate! :)

Also, 'Turning Around' from 1:00 - 1:37 is all blackmore mid gain on ch3 too (with some added delay in parts)

The BM is one of the best amps i've played.. good luck!

Are the other high-gain sounds Blackmore as well?

^ yes... 2 amps mixed

about 60-70% blackmore, 30-40% 5150 i think from memory

i find the 2 amps to be pretty similar and much prefer the blackmore
