ENGL FIREBALL 100 *better audio* mic'd the cab

Here is the latest recording on the ENGL Fireball 100.
Taped it the same time I recorded my FJC modded JCM 800 last weekend.
The audio and video dont sync up towards the end of the clip.
Still learning all the recording crap!
Played it with the more METAL settings to see how it would record.
Any feedback is appreciated.
It sounds better but I am still not satisfied with the overall results.
Learning a little more after each take.
Tell me what ya think!

Actually it was the Knit hat!
Made me think I was back in Seattle and going GRUNGE!!!

I was getting ready to slit my wrists after that take!!

I love that Jackson.
It is a Older Japanese DK2 that was part of a Limited edition series. This one has the Graphics of that video game Twisted Metal. Pic of the Clown "Sweet tooth" Not sure how many they put out.
Jackson alos put out a JERSEY DEVIL graphic that is REALLY hard to find.
I upgraded the pickups and bridge and it plays REALLY nice. Alot better then most of the USA Jacksons I owned in the past.

Lately I been digging the JCM 800 more. Its not as brutal but more THICK sounding.
Sounds like Slayer and then some. I just like the tone of it.
But I cant let go of that ENGL. It handles the BROOOTZ better than any amp I owned.
Probably 80% modded JCM to the 20% ENGL FIREBALL 100.

Here is a GOOD recording of that JCM 800 that the original owner did.....and then my Micd video..........
It just such a KILLER amp!!

I believe I have the best in both worlds.
That JCM gets SUPER AC/DC tones when I switch off the gain......
Love that amp!!

I like that axe I thought the amp sounded thick man. Your 800 is thicker that must be a wall of tone.

I love both amps.
That JCM just 'suits' me better these past few months.
The video DOES NOT capture the REAL tone of this amp at all.
It sounds really 80 ish..........
The ENGL sounds so BRUTAL though.
I owned a ENGL Invader in the past and a FRAMUS COBRA and this FIREBALL 100 crushes both of them in the HEAVY side!

That FJA JCM 800 just has a 'perfect' rock/metal tone to it.
I have owned alot of amps.....and this one is in the top 2 by far!!
