How's the lead tone on these bad boys? Are they able to get a good liquid sustain without a boost ? What's a good deal on one of these?

I owned one and yes it can on the lead channel.

Same here. I miss it - they are a versatile amp.
Not sure what they are going for$ these days.

Awesome amps! Engl Savage 120 is my main amp. I actually prefered it over my Invader, so got rid of that. Super versatile, and can achieve hugely different tones with different cabs too. Can't help with pricing unfortunately, i'm in Australia.

I got a Great deal on a savage 120 for $1300 and passed it on to another bro for the same price. I'd say IMO a good price would be $1500 in this current market.
