A PowerInvader with midi? :D

I THINK the 2nd channel of the Invader is Morses design voicing wise, this amp should be very close to the Ihnvader.

It has EL34`s and looks quite similar to the Invader, so maybe "Alex Lifeson-Triamp", "Jeff Waters-Mr.Hector"-ish...?
Basically a very similar amp, but with small differences in cosmetics and voicing?

I played it at the Messe and it is not an Invader and not really based on it.

You get 3 channels. First 2 channels have gain, eq, volume and can be switched lo and hi gain. 3rd channel has gain, eq with a twist, volume and also lo/hi gain (I think). The twist in the EQ is the fact that it has 2 sets of lo and hi mid controls and those are midi switchable and can be combined. This is what Morse absolutely wanted to get. Besides that, the amp has 2 masters, 2 loops yada yada, all midi switchable.

Soundwise, I liked it way more than the Invader. Again, it is overkill gainwise but it sounds a lot more Mashally than any Engl ever and the 3rd channel gets some amazing lead tones.

Holy COW!! Not to mention the bass player! He`s gotta be one of the best ever. I`d like to hear HIM with a pick!
I don't have sound on this computer, but that looks like Dave LaRue.

Pete, it is Dave LaRue, and he seriously kicks ass :)

Thump was pulling my leg on this one though. It`s one of those "...Shreds"-videos.
It sounds absolutely terrible :D

Cool, I was hoping he'd get back to more of a Marshally sound.
