Anyone thinking of buying one of these ? I know there are a few ENGL fans on RT. Victor Smolski is pretty badass, cool that he has his own signature amp. Check out the cool chain link front ventilation.

Played this at NAMM--great-sounding--kind of like a stripped-down SE. I would own one, but I'd probably BUY an Invader or Savage first...
 
Looks pretty cool. I would give it a go being the Engl fanboi that I am. :lol: :LOL:
 
I played it at NAMM. I dug it but honestly dug the Powerball II more. Killer look, though!
 
I'll have to wait to hear it, but it looks AWESOME. ENGL amps are right up my street with features and versetility, however they sound way too compressed for my liking, the Powerball anyway.

Any idea what this sounds like? I mean in coparesson to other ENGL models?

Very close to a Powerball II but a little more raunchy. Maybe a tad less compressed as well.
 
I don't mind compressed sounding amps. From you tube vids of him playing through his amp, I like it.
 
I dont love the look honestly .I think its just too much .the Chains the Snakeskin ,metal chickenheads. over the top a bit for me but metal for sure

That looks badass.........I've owned 2 Fireballs and a Powerball......kickass amps..... :rock:

I think someone in a Jazz or Country Band should get one- just for the look.
