Hey everybody!

I`m having some troubles with getting the sound that I´m after. I haven´t learned the EQ quite yet, my former amp was a dual rectifier which I played for several years and the EQ is completely different. I play in B-tuning and play heavy music like Korn, Metallica and In Flames. Any ideas?

Peace and love!

I´m using a PRS CE-24 with a vintage bass and HFS pickups. My cab is a Rivera 16 ohms vintage 30 elements.

Peace!

Switch to channel 3
Put all the controls at 12 'o clock except the volume and gain.
Start the gain from 3 'o clock
Lower the volume
Play a bit with presence and treble and determine which of two you like the most
Do the same thing with bass and deep
Try to lower the mids and raise the gain and vice versa.
Now start to raise the channel volume a bit and see what happens
Normally if you play at low volumes you'll add more deep and presence
Your cab is good and should handle the bass pretty well ;)

My personal settings for rhythm are in terms of clock hrs.
bass - 1
middle - 12 1/2
treble - 1 1/2
gain - 4 1/4
volume - 10
presence - 12 1/2
deep - 12 1/2

Thanks for the tip! I´ll try it out this weekend!

Anyone else got any tips?

Peace!
