i just got a little protools rig, and i'm trying for the life of me to figure out how to use it..

here's what i got so far. i'm mixing with headphones, which sorts sucks.. it sounds fizzy to me, but thought i could fix that with a high-pass filter.. i dunno.. i'm missing something with protools i'm sure..

ps, i can't for the life of me figure out the pops and clicks, it only happens when I upload it somewhere.

it sounds super squashed to me.

also the mids sound a little funky.

also sounds like a blanket over the speaker.

might sound better when you add the drums though.

mixing with headphones is really tough. hard to gauge low end.

i think my main issue is that i'm recording direct with a pdi-09. so theres no air thats moving around a mic. someone mentioned they had an ISO cab for sale so i might start saving some $$
