Erect guys?

So I was all alone and decided to go head to toe with the Erect. I did some tube swapping and such and I think I really like it.I ended up with a HG JJECC83s in the V1 and an EH in 2.Seems I was always battling with it and finally spent some quality time with it.So guys,bust with some settings you are using to get the "BRUTALZ".I still might take an EG5 in trade tho

Glad ur liking it. I think it is an under rated mod. I get a clean from it that is good for my Jazz/blues and the lead screams floyd. I have it paired with the EG3/4 and luv it. I thought about finding another Erect and set it up like my (getting Dusty) Mesa MKIII. Clean, Rhythm Crunch, heavy rhythm, Lead.

When i recorded, i used bright boost on 2, but usually i just use it on 1.

I have my bass 12 o'clock, mids 1 o'clock (maybe a tad bit more), treble 2 o'clock

I use a ceramic pickup too. There's just something about my guitar that really suits the Erect, i just can't seem to get a bad sound out of it. I love it!

The ERect I had was very close in sound to the Randall Grail..maybe slightly warmer...screaming lead sound and chunky rhythms....but I preferred the tone of the chinese ax7s in it for sure...may have been c8s or c9s tho'..since they were Ruby brand..have no idea how to tell.
