Fake as hell!! It might be a cool axe if it was built well - for a couple hundred bucks. But I own the LTD version of this guitar and know what the ESP version looks like. This one is a copy.

Looks like a copy. The ESP logo does not look right. Plus it says pickups were "replaced" with seymour duncans. ESP's I believe always came with a duncan pickup. Bridge doesn't seem to be a Floyd. Probably more signs that it's fake too.

Couple things for me that scream fake.

1). The paint job should be yellow/black/white.
2). The tiger pattern looks off.
3). I have never seen a M1-Tiger which the tiger pattern on the back.
4). Truss rod cover on the neck - don't remember seeing one on the real thing.

Unbelievable! I've played the ESP version and loved it, but there's no way I was going to pay $4000 for a one-trick pony with one pickup. I'm a huge Lynch fan, but that's just insane for a signature guitar. When the LTD version came out for $499, I ordered it sight unseen. I figured it would just be a cool "wall crawler" to look cool in my jam room if nothing else. When it arrived, my jaw literally dropped. The thing is FLAWLESS! Perfectly rolled edges on the frets, setup was perfect with low action that I like, but not TOO low that it buzzes anywhere. I kid you not - the neck and fretwork on this guitar is on par with with the ESP and many other guitars out there that would set you back thousands. Even the stock ESP pickup that came in it sounded pretty damn good! I put a Scream'n Demon in to get it a little more inline with the ESP, but the stock pickup is totally playable. The Demon just sends this guitar over the cliff!! So lively with just the right amount of snap and bite. I can actually get a VERY sweet AC/DC crunch with a medium gain setting and the volume rolled off just a bit. It has that chunk that only an SG can do with that type of setting. The only other mod I've done is I upgraded the trem block to a brass one from Floyd Upgrades. With that and the better pickup, it's one of my favorite guitars. Every time I pick it up, I cannot believe I only payed $499 for it.

I HIGHLY recommend picking one up if it's your thing. Best "cheap" guitar I've ever owned.

Neck plate is squared as ESP's are not (maybe older ones were but haven't seen a squared neck plate myself on a Lynch ESP). For $500 I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole to be honest. I have a 600 series LTD Lynch Tiger and it's a much better buy for the same amount of money for the fake one. Mine came factory with maple body, an Original Floyd and a Screamin' Demon. The 200 series Lynch Tiger guitars aren't terrible by any stretch, and on the used market they usually go for a fair price. They really do have a great feel to them.
