ESP Eclipse Satin Purple Vid (posted as I used the VH4S)

So I think I may have gotten my mic technique better. Lemme know what you think. if this is my sweet spot I am marking that shit on my cab and always mic'ing it there. It is a little off axis and not directly at the dust cap. In the vid which is meant to be a review of the new toy (Satin Purple Eclipse I) I used just the Vh4S and a Boss super chorus for cleans in the channel insert. Lemme know what your thoughts are. I have the VH4S EQ'd at noon basically on all the knobs.

That sounds like channel 3 to me, mic placement is working...sounds good man. Out of curiosity, what are your setting?

BTW...In regards to the "pop rock" sh*t...I think it sounds cool man. I have watched a bunch of your various reviews and clips and in all honesty, that style seems to fit your playing much better than the palm muted metal stuff...and you appeared (and sounded) very comfortable until the end when you began the "Sweet Amber" riff. Sorry for the teqnique critique man...but play to your strenghts. Just my opinion, and thanks for posting!!!

Hey thanks man, yeah you hit the nail on the head. I like all the "metalesque" gear but play more pop rock stuff and my band I made makes no bones about trying to right stuff I think would get airplay. So I appreciate it man!
