Specifically the F250 and F400's. These, IMO, look like the most brootalz metal axe ever. I never see them for sale locally. I see the $100 bottom grade models on Craigs List. Has anyone spent some time with the F250 or F400? Playability-wise, do they feel like Ibanez RG's? I have never bought a guitar based on looks, but one of these might be the first.

I had the gl600fb baritone for awhile. Seemed really light and the neck was very smooth. Probably a little less wide then an ibby but a little fatter/rounder in the back. Was a great feeling piece but I couldn't get used to the longer scale. Would buy a reg scale in a heartbeat. Good luck!!

I used to rock a F-250 back in the day. It was a Black gold type of color, don't remember the name of the paint.
Its nickname was the BONECRUSHER. That guitar had the most stable tuning I ever had. I don't know what it was but it stayed in tune no matter what. I really wish I would have kept that guitar. Plus it has some kinda EMG boost, it worked really well with the passive emg hz pickups it came with.

Those F Series are awesome. I had 2 of the 7 string models and i have the ESP lynch custom F baritone on its way in the mail right now. The shape is really comfortable, it has a thin body that sits really nicely in the classical position. They use the thin flat necks on them too as opposed to the rounder necks on most of the other ESP/LTD models. The LTD versions theyve made over the years were always good. The downfall with the F250 trem models was the shit licensed floyd hardware which overtime strips and needs to be changed. They are solid guitars though and deff worth the money they go for used today.

They made a 400 model around 2005 with a see thru black finish and a tribal inlay that was awesome. It had a tune o matic bridge and EMGs. Its a very metal guitar and imo way cooler than any other V or pointy shaped "metal" guitars.

Thanks for the replies folks. Would love this axe to be my first 7 stringer.

I use my wife's old F50 for practicing around the house. Minus the shitty p'ups, it plays very well. Holds tune well too. I can imagine the higher models would be nicer. The neck is nothing like an Ibby RG neck though.
