ESP LTD Signature MW600 Michael Wilton Electric Guitar - Bla

I am posting this here also, because this forum gets much more traffic than guitars.

I am thinking about getting one of these. I will have to purchase via online store, so I will not get to play before I purchase. However I have 45 days to return if I do not like. I really do not like the paint job, but I love the maple/maple neck, the original floyd and J pickup. It seems like a cool guitar, any thoughts from those who have seen this in person? This is the LTD model so it is the less expensive one.

The 600 line of LTD's are nice all around. I've not played the MW, but I've played some other sig models, and didn't have any complaints.

Degarmo's white MII with the 'Ryche symbol is SAWEEET. I've been listening to Queensryche like crazy lately.

There's a terrible copy of that guitar that's been on Ebay for at least a year now, probably longer. The graphic on the body is ridiculously pixelated and the guitar looks like garbage. But yeah, Queensryche owns.

I wish ESP would sell MII's in White. I'd buy one!

Any LTD above the 400 level is a pretty nice guitar IMO, especially for the money. It depends on what kind of Ibanez you're talking about. If you're talking about ones in the same price range, I'd take an LTD any day of the week over an Ibanez.

I've got one...very cool for the money. Real Floyd, SD JB...played well out of the box. I scrapped the single coils for something else though...and I love the skulls! My cover band is also putting together a 'Ryche tribute band so it's a perfect fit.

I also have an MII which plays a little better...but not much.

since you have one can you give me some input on how thick the thin U necks are? I have read their quite a bit thicker than some expected, how does it compare to a USA strat?

It's a decent size neck...little wider then a Standard Strat. Different radius as well...it's a lot like an MII.
