. . . Peter is and was my teacher, so here's my latest (and lowest Watt ever) creation:

(vid) - some clipping, first attempt with vid and such. Not serious - LOL

clip - I think its a bit too buzzy . . . will work on it

Congrats! Very nice amp! Like the design!
Now a baseplate in chrome and the livingroom-problem could have been solved :D
btw the last, far left knob is for what? Master-Vol?

reall really nice and brilliant cleans. i love them this way.
seems that the design will work out great , too.

Nice! Regarding the specs, offhand I love the low wattage. Perfect for the bedroom guitarist.

Thanks guys.

Its a 20 Watter with 6V6GTs (JJ), 2.5 channels, loop, 2 tonestacks, over-all master (right unlabelled pot).

The chassis is a Madamp A15 chassis (I'm friends with the owner of Madamp) - actually "my" version of it with choke, better powertransformer and different circuitry. see http://www.madamp.biz - those are kits for DIYers. This isn't a kit though . . .

Thanks again.

looks very nice, congrats! will check the clips at home then...

you never stop amazing me with your builds!!

top notch

so, i could now have a listen to that, and i do not want to sound like a all-over-fanboy, but this is a georgeous tone, i love it. great job!

but i also have to admit that i am biased because black rose is one of my all time favorite songs.

20 watts is super loud when cranked, no bedroom there!

could probably handle clubs for 150 people or so.

remember every time you double the wattage you add 3db

so 20 - 40 - 80 - 160

its only about 10 or 11 db quieter than a herbie!

Olaf, where did you get the John Sykes Edwards?

Cool tone!!

Not sure if I leave the plexi-glas, maybe I'll use real glas.
The headshell is way too high, I'll get a "matching" one in two weeks - but IMO its pretty nice looking :)
