Hell yeah, congrats!

Don't worry about breaking in speakers. It's going to take literally hundreds of loud hours for that to happen. If you really need to revoice your speakers, just get a good EQ to put in the loop instead.

You’re in for a real treat. A head and 4x12 are inspiring like nothing else. Once you’ve experienced it there’s no going back! Great amp too - it’s got way more gain on tap than anyone needs. Congrats and enjoy!!! Post some clips!

Went and pulled the trigger again !

With 4x12 Cab, Im so stoked.

Its all RSM's fault lol.

I've never owned a 100 watt head or 4x12 cab before, breaking in the speakers, what volume and hours to break it in correctly.
Ah man..

You must consult the oracle on top of mount clueless. There you will be gifted a pamphlet that explains it all works the same and doesn't need break in because it's not a flat tappet camshaft. 👌

Goodluck & wear ear plugs at volume.

Did you get the EVH cab ? I wouldn’t wouldn’t worry about a break in protocol , just have fun and play. After a while you won’t even think about the speakers breaking in

Congrats, sounds like a great amp! I have only owned a 50-watt non-Stealth and I don’t even know what tubes it had. But it was beastly.

I really like the EVH Stealth cab that I have. Run it in tandem with a 1960BX. The Marshall is a touch brighter, which I didn't think worked as well with the 50W Stealth I had. You picked up a good mix!

All the way up in 5 second on/off intervals. If you start now you should be ready to rock in early June.

Don't worry about any speaker break in, for some reason all of the Celestion Heritage speakers from the UK since 2019 have sounded great right of of the boxes. I bought two Heritage quads in 2019 and a single speaker last year and all of them sounded great without any extened play time. Of course we all know they will only get better with time and play!

The EVH greenbacks are Heritage speakers so I don't see why they wouldn't be like my 12H-30 Heritages! I don't think I've heard of anyone complaining at all about their EVH cabinets sounding horrible new and needing a break in and I don't thin you will either.:2thumbsup:
Vid from Mr Dan Leal......Enjoy your new Stealth!

Thank you. 🤙

In my limited experience, 20-30 watt speakers tend to soften up and start sounding sweet much sooner than heavier duty / higher wattage speakers, like EV 12Ls for example. And don't be afraid to try 5751 preamp tubes in the gain stages for the Red and Blue channels: you will still have God's plenty gain on both channels, but the 5751s will give you more sweep of the gain pot to get to the same place with more useful lower to mid gain points along the way. Congrats and Enjoy!
