Bruce kind took a beating with a post awhile back about their support.
So, to make sure we have a balanced playing field - I wanted to report my fantastic interaction.
Saw a "Pre-Production" Rocktron Vendetta (same basic design as the TOL heads) on eBay that claimed to be handbuilt by Bruce prior to Rocktron taking over assembly of the design. The seller stated there may have been mod work done to the amp.
I emailed Bruce Friday afternoon (auction closed on Sunday) to see if he could verify the "Bruce Built" statement. He verified it was in fact true. He asked me to get some better quality pics of the inside of the amp for him to review what mod work may have been done. I sent them back to him late Friday night after the seller got back to me. Bruce looked them over and replied back on Saturday morning - warning me against purchasing the amp unless I really wanted to take on a project.
I didn't, so I passed.
Excellent prompt - and completely unexpected weekend - support from Bruce.
Now of course, Bruce really shouldn't be doing that kind of crap, but until he finds someone he trusts to do it for him, he's doing it. At least he did it for me.
