Just got this amp back in trade from the original owner towards a new MGL100 head we’re building for him. 2020 MGL AmpWorks MGL50 single channel High Gain model in purple 26” small box Plexi style cab, amp never left the house and is in pristine condition other than the tolex on the back corners is lifting a bit (easy fix w/ contact cement or Super glue). This amp has a $75.00 optional extra switch on the front to the right of the Pre-Amp knob. This switch is for the first tone cap in the circuit and chooses between a real NOS mustard cap in the down position or a SoZo cap in the up position. So 2 different voiced caps to choose from. Amp is all original with square getter Chinese preamp tubes & a pair of Siemens EL34 power tubes along with a Merren Plexi replica output transformer. NOTE: I also have a black tolex head cab available if the buyer would rather have that.
