F-spaced vs Standard Spacing

Is it a huge deal if I put F-spaced pups in my Gibson LP?
 
It'll work fine and you'll never notice the difference unless you're an Eric Johnson-type.

F spaced actually works better with modern Les Pauls anyway.

ebonics sound better from black pickups. white pickups sound stupid trying to cop ebonics.

I've said it a million times. standard spaced pups sound thicker and warmer, even with tremolo bridges.
 
Gibson bridge pickups are F-Spaced / wider than their neck pickups. I know, because when putting Gibson nickel covers on my Duncan pickups, the bridge cover holes were F-spaced!
 
i using a motorcitypickups f-spaced Detroiter in my les paul out on the road. it sounds great.

I have no doubt that 53mm spacing works fine in LPs. That being said, my 50mm spaced BKPs line up perfectly with the poles in all of my LPCs.
