Fair price for a Herbert mkiii ??

Just curious, what you folks around here think a good shipped price is on a mint mkiii head?

Now that I've scratched the Diezel itch.
I'm thinking about selling the big D.

Maybe an axe iii down the line.

Eh? Thought about even possibly doing a raffle style deal but that's just an idea to give more people a chance at a lower price point.

Not sure exactly which way I want to go exactly.
I also have a very good cause to do a raffle but don't want to step on the other guys without maybe getting some feedback.

Well one thing, dont think there won't be a profit on it. I paid 3,600 for it. And I already know they won't get that on the aftermarket. No Bueno on that part.

That's another thing I'll say about a head this beasty, it'll cost $200+ I'm sure to have it packed correctly and insured through ups. Makes you miss having a half sized head that weighs a little less when it comes to shipping 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

I've never used pirate ship, in fact only heard it mentioned on the forum a few times. If they save on shipping though I'm all about it!

Not to divulge too much off gate, my dad has been fighting cancer for last 5ish years. They did removals and chemo stuff (which I feel is probably worse, but they are not of the views I have with that) But it left, came back, stabilized type thing. Spread through lymph nodes, into kidneys. It's taken absolute hold the last few months. Chemo has him too weak to have any more organs removed they've said they can't do anything further. The last 2-3 weeks hospice has been doing home care with my mom. And it's at the point where they have pulled her to the side and said it's likely a matter of days now. They been married 35 years. I don't live with them, I have teenage kids and all that. I visit when I can. But she showed me the medical bills, insurance only covers a percentage. But it's insane. They did all this paperwork and did the whole DNR thing because they said it'll hurt him more when he goes.

So, I have plenty of amps. And I noticed they have done some raffling for causes, and I thought maybe that could be something to help my mother. Dad is completely out of it on fentynyl patches. Saw him today and he's down to 95 lbs and can't speak above a whisper. Mom cries in private because he never liked pity. And I treat him like nothing is wrong, because of this. It's a fucked up situation and I'm not even sure how to process all of it. But that's what the cause would be for, probably much more honorable than worrying about a digital rig at the moment. I'm not hurting for gear, and don't play shows currently.

In a nutshell, that's the deal.

I've heard that prayer doesn't help, but I know that it doesn't hurt.

What's crazy is he seems content. They aren't that old. 50ish (I'm shit with numbers like age and birthdates unless it's my kids)

He is comfortable in their home.
I think he has made his peace after the last few days. Rapid decline over the last 2-3 weeks.

So although he is the one dying, the help is for my mother because she's the one who first hand is having to deal with it, and will be the most affected in the end.

All good energy is good energy however you put it out there, prayer or thought or good vibes it's all the same idea to me and my understandings.
