Go on about your regularly scheduled programming. No magic mojo tubes here and my camera is a piece of shit so no pics either. :thumbsdown:
 
GE 6550's are supposed to be the tube of choice for the vintage Ampeg SVT (Blue) amp heads

Are the plates Grey or Black? Black would be the most sought after, rare and expensive but Grey plates are still good.. especially branded {7025}. If they are Grey and branded both 7025 and 12AX7A on the tube, they are likely to be late 70's-beyond? and will fetch less $. Early RCA's were branded only {7025} or {12AX7} respectively.

Yeah I figured this wouldn't be an open and shut type question. He's swinging over here tomorrow with the tubes so I can test them and I'll just snap off a buncha shots and get back to you guys tomorrow. I'm probably wasting my time as the likely-hood of these things working and being primo are going to be slim. Stay tuned...
