Can you name a few famous guitarists that run gianormous pedal boards?

I remember looking at live pics of Randy Rhodes and thinking his was pretty big, especially for back in the day.

By big pedalboards do you mean all pedal pedalboards, or huge rack rigs with big control switching systems?

I always thought Joe had a big "pedals" pedalboard

Tim Mahoney from 311 has a massive board. This sucker built by LA Sound Design is 42x23...and it has a smaller board that hooks to it (can't find pics of that)

Joe Perry, but it looks like it was cobbled together with some spare wood and indoor/outdoor carpeting......

AH pedals, i just love pedals. Soooo much better than stepping on a MIDI switch and having everything synthetically done for you.

Glad I read through this thread first because this is the only person that I was thinking about while reading all the other posts. Edge has got a mega machine of effects behind him, but not so much stomp related as 'computer' related, I believe. Whereas John F. has got STOMPS!!

Mo

Doesn't Alex lifeson have a big pedalboard,or am i thinking earlier is his career?

john f didn't have a ton of stuff back in the day

i ran sound for his band thelonious monster and it was their last gig with john before he joined the peppers
he was a GREAT player back then and monster was a killer band. GIT chops with LA punk attitude
