Hey guys!

I'm currently running the REV. 2 Uber and my Roadster together into a Mills Acoustics 4x12 (V30s) each...like the sounds, but I seem to like the feel and tone of the amps when they each get two cabs to themselves.

I REALLY like the Roadster through the Mills cabs, so I'll leave those for that amp.

So, I'm thinking about grabbing 2 more 4x12s to run the Uber through.

Tone wise, I like an aggressive hard rock/metal sound. I think my amp selection speakers for that

What cabs do you guys like with your Uber? Preference on speakers? I LOVE my Mills cabs, but I figure I should get something a little difference, instead of have 4 of the same cab. What do you think would mix best into this setup?

Thanks much!

Eric

I like an Uberkab w/ V30's and G12K100's in an X pattern. The regular Uberkab w/ V30's and G12T75's sounds sweet too but the K100's are tighter.

Bogner 4x12 with G12Ms for me. I know, not what you'd expect with an Uberschall, but it sounds amazing. I do like the V30 / G12T-75 combo too, but if you're running a full stack, I'd bet all G12Ms would sound better.

i have a twin jet and i really didnt like the uberkab all that much...... ive owned the rear loaded one and i tried the new front loaded one a few times and the bass was deep but not really that punchy

i find that the bigger cabinet construction helps add to polishing/tightening up on the bass with my uberschall....i run an overzised bogner 2x12 with v30s and i thought it sounded better than the regular v30 bogner 4x12.....it just seems alot clearer and more open sounding than the 4x12 was

i also liked the way it sounded through a mesa recto cab alot....it just seemed like the bigger the cab the bigger the overall fatness in tone was

i agree with Rich here...the oversized recto cabs definitely give the uber a more bassy sound. however, after running my uber through a recto oversized for the first two years i had it, i auditioned and bought an ubercab. the mesa cab has more bass and boom to it, but i felt the ubercab had more cut in the highs and mids. the bass from the ubercab is not as boomy as the recto cab, but may be a little deeper and clearer. both sound great, it just depends on how you like your tone.

Try an X pattern using the H30 70th anniversary with the V30's. you get the quickness and brightness of the H30 with the low end whomp of the V30. And unlike the greenbacks the H30 matches the efficiency of the V30. Charlie at Bogner says that a lot of bogner users love this setup!

Mills Acoustics loaded with V30's and G12K100's.

Suh-weeeeeeet...!!

I used mine with v30s in a Marshall & Mill 4x12s. Also have a 1x12 with the 200w evmL .. Sounds great with both those speakers IMO..

I run mine through Recto 2x12 or 4x12 cabs and it sounds great.
