Hey first post here. Woke up in the middle of the night thinking about Hi Drives. I usually hang around TGP, but saw quite a few posts about Naylor amps here. Shouldn't be a surprise. As a generalization, more gain happens here, hence more Naylor's.

I have a Duel 60 with factory EL34's. It is my favorite amp yet. I usually play single coil guitars and a fuzz pedal is always near, but am enjoying a Les Paul in C# standard right now. I have gone through quite a few cabinets and currently have two that I really love, an Omega 4x12 front loaded with Vintage 30s, and a Naylor HexaTone 6x12 loaded with 4 Greenbacks, and two Naylor 50 watters. Quite different sounds, the Omega is big and clear while the HexaTone is punchy and warm. Also have a V Boutique Vumble 1x12 with a 75w Creamback, sounds good and is a nice practice cabinet. The list of former cabs with the Duel 60 is:

Ampeg V4 with Greenbacks and G12H30s (too dark but sounded cool with gain cranked)
Naylor 4x10 open back with Naylor speakers (good clean, lackluster dirty)
Bogner 1x12 Shiva cab with Classic Lead 80 (good but a little boxy)
I've heard the amp played through a Marshall 1960AHW (sounded great, but I didn't play it)
Demo'd the amp when buying with a Victory 2x12 with Vintage 30s (good enough to buy the amp, but not enough to take the cab home)
Bogner OS212 with Vintage 30s (owned 2, unpopular opinion, I don't like them)
Budda 4x12 with Budda Speakers (pretty great especially when adding batting, but gave it away. Sounded close to my Omega but not as good)
Mesa Boogie Horizontal Recto 2x12 with Vintage 30s (good but it ain't no 4x12)
Avatar Blues Breaker style closed back 2x12 with Greenbacks (good)
Avatar Blues Breaker style closed back with 2x12 with one Vintage 30 and one G12T-75 (least favorite)

I am always on the lookout for cabinets. Thought I would sign up and ask for some current and former Naylor owner's suggestions and recommendations. Appreciate it!
