For me it's either Olympic White or Seafoam Green.

I'm not real keen on seafoam green but eh Oly White is cool. Some of their orange finishes are nice to.

My Strat. I'd never seen a production line Stratocaster with this finish (other than this one) or with the flamed maple top as well (not photoflame).

Pickups used to be 3x Vintage Noiseless.
In the picture I swapped in a hot rails.

Those are all gone now. Now I run two Lindy Fralin Vintage Hots and a Seymour Duncan Custom 5 in the bridge.

For me out of those its:

Blue, I like how you can see the wood grain.
Red, I actually have a red strat
Sunburst, I have 2 of this color, but that finish looks better than either one....

I have a liking for Robert Cray's inca silver or Eric Clapton's Mercedes Blue or any regular Fender's Olympic White, I'm simple when it comes to Strats.

I think they called it violin burst or something.

2 tone burst (think EJ Strat) or Vintage White (think YJM Strat). Oh, and strats gotta have maple necks/fretboards.

Why do you say that? Just curious....

I assume you're referring to the maple neck/fretboard comment. It's just because I feel that they provide a "true" strat sound with that amazing snap and bite - a signature tone for the strat. Again, it's just my opinion. I prefer the feel of rosewood the best out of all the fretboard woods, though.

The ones where you can see the wood...
I've never understood the appeal of solid colors... looks like a car body or something, not a musical instrument

Olympic White, Seafoam Green's pretty awesome too but I love finishes with visible wood grain. :D
