So, anybody interested?

Digitech 2120 Artist Preamp.

Latest firmware. 2 New Groove Tubes (less than 20 hours). Control One Foot controller. MIDI cable and power cable. Instruction Manual.

Damn good condition. A little rack rash. Just don't use it any more.

PM for pics. Looking for $400 shipped to Con US.

Asking price too high?

Did an evil Bay search, and these seem to be going for $425-ish + $25 shipping...

Ugh, I was hoping someone here needed it. I guess next stop HC, then evilBay. Any other suggestions, other than Craig, about boards to move this item?

Tell your friends, I prefer to deal with a forumite.

What's the dealio with these things? I know nothing about them.

Is it an all in one preamp effects jobber?

Any tubes or all digital?

All in one effects unit preamp. Real versatile with a ton of EQ options. Atleast when I had mine I know there were some websites that had software downloads so you could edit patches and what not on your P.C. I had the silver faced guitar center edition(I don't know if it's any different then the standard. Awesome for recording direct, would be good for death metal. I loved mine for a while, but then feel out of love and it never sounded the same. It's got two tubes and some solid state stuff. On the distortion portion of it you can choose between tube, solid state, or a combination of the two. It integrates great with the control one footswitch. I have an old unfinished band demo kicking around somewhere that I recorded using one.

Yeah that's about right. It has a couple tubes for overdrive and all kinds of programming flexability. It has MIDI interface and a proprietary connection to the "Control One" foot controller. The best part about that is the tuner is integrated into the display of the Control One.

I remember when they were new, they sold for like $1200. At one time this was the bomb.

It was my first rack piece. A hell of an introdution to "rack land".

Mine too. I just decided to mess around with all my patches one day and never really got it back to a sound I liked. I in the end used it in a stereo setup with a JMP-1 which sounded pretty good. Ended up trading the whole rack for a head

I'll give you $250.

That's a little low.

After searching evilBay for these, I feel 400 shipped is quite fair. I'll post a link to that seach when I get home. Logging onto eBay from work sends a big red flag to the IT guy.

So far RT is under the radar.

Just thought I'd help out a little with clips:

I know nobody's heard of that band (one of my favorite bands nobody's heard :D), but almost all the leads to their songs were done with a 2120 if I'm not mistaken (I got that info from their lead guitarist). The rhythm is Mesa Triaxis in case anyone is wondering...

I recommend Farther; the lead kicks in around 4:20. There's also a solo in Sheep in Kings at around 2:00.

Good luck, mate. Bad ass for electro/industrial stuff.

If I didn't have soon to come house buying expenses, plus a UK trip next year, I'd be all over that piece... I've wanted one for awhile. unfortunately, living comes first. :(

Consider it a karma bump!!!

Thanks bro. I am not really in a hurry to move it. Float me a PM after the dust settles, maybe you could still be all over it.
