thanks and no prob. It's actually pretty staight foward...Its just a early 70's strat plugged into a Fender Black Face Concert (PTP) in the normal channel. Mic'ed with a SM57. Treble=5, Bass=7, Volume= 5. I added a bit of verb/delay during mix and thats it.

I have a Roland/BOSS BR1600 16-track recorder and I just plug right into one of the inputs. sorry i missed that piece. it's built-in micpre's, but depending sometimes I use an external mic pre for certain things, but in this case its all internal. I'm very pleased with this "all u can eat" recorder because its "simple", the way i like it!

Yopu have a great sense of mood...cool clip!

thanks R..that's a very interesting comment ..I've gained sort of a reputation within my circle of friends ( especially female) that tag me with the "M" word a lot...I do like the drink wine/beer alot and listen to depressing music, so I guess it's starting to reflect in my approach to music. u can get a better idea by visiting my myspace site and listening to other depressing/moody pieces.

Sounds great. Always wanted to get some kinmans for my strat, but they never seem to be a priority purchase.

I heard those 80's concerts are great platforms to mod, but that sounds pretty good the way it is

thanks man, yep you are right, this is a point to point amp and yes I did get it modded to resemble an old blackface twin sorta tone!

That is one of the greatest clean tones I have ever heard, on par with EJ's himself I'd say. Awesome playing as well, Forty Mile Town is one great song to showcase this kind of clean sound!

I listened to the clips you have there...nice stuff!
Of all of Landau's stuff that he's released, I like his first solo CD the most because t sounds like he was honest and bearing himself on it...lots of nice moody pieces and really tasty playing.
While you are in this moody writing style (IMO) you should complete a complete CD that you are happy with....I think it would be great!
