Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I got an email from my Sweetwater rep today telling me that Fender will be raising its prices August 10. They can lock you in on the current pricing now, even if you place an order for a guitar to be delivered after August 10. So if you're in the market for a new Fender or Custom Shop fiddle, this is your last chance to get in on the current pricing.

Direct from my rep:

I wanted to inform my customers about an upcoming change for the Yamaha and Fender products. Starting in August, both manufacturers will be implementing price increases across their respective product lines. Specifically, Yamaha's price adjustment will take effect from August 1st, while Fender's will begin on August 10th.

If there's anything you've had your eye on, please reach out to me! Even if it's out of stock, I can get you locked at the current pricing.

That'll affect me about as much as a commensurate increase in the cost of tampons.

Assuming that means Jackson goes up too. As if 4800 new for a usa select isn’t enough.
Yep - Jackson, Charvel, and EVH will likely go up too.

I'm with you. Shit's already inflated. You're probably looking at Fender and EVH amps going up too.

It’s all good guys. The more money that’s printed and pumped into circulation, the better it is for us all, right? Modern Monetary Theory works!

My buddy is in construction and wood prices are going down so not sure why things would go up.

I will say this. My Fender Professional II is outstanding and just can't find a flaw. I hadn't owned a new Stratocaster in years and was such a great buy. I have certain guitars I'll never sell and that one is on there. Beautiful Miami Blue finish, sounds great, etc

I'd never heard of that color before. It must be hard to capture, as lighting makes it looks like a darker blue in some pics, almost pastel blue in others, and then kind of greenish. How would you describe it?

I have no intention of buying any more gear......from those companies, at the moment.

Duesenberg and Magnatone on the other hand..........
