Hi there, first post and all :)

I've currently got a Mod 50 on order, Jeff said i should be putting some money down mid January, i cannot wait to get my hands on it!!!

It's the first time i've come across this forum, and i've been reading that some people have a EG5 module?! What's the difference between that and the EG3/4? Are there any other modules that aren't on the Egnater site?

Also, are the modules easy to swap around?

I going to get a mod 50, but 3 or 4 modules you see.

Also, (sorry for all the questions) will Bruce maybe make a 2 channel boogie module, like Mark IV/Rectifier instead of just the ERECT? (I don't mind having to pay extra)

Thanks for any help

Adam

Hey welcome Adam,The Eg/5 is modified MHG with more mid kick to it.The EG3/4 is a darkend and smoothed out jcm style module, nothing like the EG/5.Every module does it's own thing very well and thier website has very good descriptions of the mods as does this forum.Dude your gonna love the MOD,but the bad part is your gonna get the Module gas :D Happy holidays!Oh Ya, the modules are very easy to swap out

Thanks man!!

Looks like i'll be getting an ERECT, SL2, EG3/4 and an EG5 :D

My bareknuckle ceramic warpig is really going to shine through these too, i know it!!!

Any ideas on that Mesa module?

I've got the Erect (Dualie Recto) module. It's a great module—it's got that Mesa scooped voicing, but at the same time with it's own thing going on, clarity and depth. Very often, I find doubling tracks with a SL2 and an Erect is just a Godly tone! :)

Hope that helps,
Orren

Thanks Orren!

That was one of the main attractions with it, a recorders dream!!

I could put down 4 guitar tracks, all different and amazing tones, imagine how thick that would sound :D
