You guys will hate me but I picked up a 1960B for my Herbie and discarded my V30-loaded 212 Recto. Hahah. 10x improvement in sound with the G12T75s...

Maybe some day when I'm not so broke I'll pick up a Diezel 412 with K100s.... :O

I personally like the 1960 straight Marshall cabs. The G12T75's are great for the Herbie, I think. I have one myself. If I run the Herbie through two cabs, the Marshall and any V30 cab mix well. What will really blow your socks off is to remove the two bottom 75's and replace them with V30's or do an X-pattern. This is what I have been doing to my Mesa Standard cabs and they sound killer with the Herbie and everything else, including my Mark III, Mark IV and Mark V. You don't have to dodge ice picks while playing.

Meanwhile, I am still waiting on my front loaded Diezel with GK100's. It is being manufactured and shipped from Mars or Jupiter.

Yeah I've heard good things about V30s and G12T75s together X Patterned... (Read: Uberkab). That was my top choice but the money to find/get one wasn't there. As it is, since I work in music retail I got this for very little. :D

Then you are looking for a rear loaded Hemp Cone cab...which is nothing short of spectacular!

I like the GT75s in cabs. they sound natural. I have them in my Splawn 4x12. I mixed it with my Diezel 4X12 w the G12K100s that i got from Pluto & it sounded awesome. just my $.02. Someday Steve u will get your cab!! ;)

How would you describe the Hempcones? I've been very curious ever since hearing about them.

They are the most unique cab I have tried in my life. Very warm, smooth, crystal clear, articulate. They are a bit misleading initially..at least to my ears. They have a warm vintage vibe in some respects yet they are so right for modern sounds it is amazing. They handle whatever you throw at them wonderfully. Parts of your ears hear vintage and sweet smoothness with cream and the other parts hears punchy, kick you in the face articulate with a stiff dose of Jack Daniels...lol. I really am liking them very very much. They provide front loaded traditional characteristics with rear load dynamics if that makes sense. They really are unique and absolutely wonderful. The more I try them, the more I like them and am getting used to them. Every bit is brilliant as the front loaded cabs for sure if not more so. I feel the front loaded cab best matches the VH4 and I am beginning to lean towards the rear loaded cab going with the Herbert and possibly the Einstein....that is my leaning at the moment.

If you can imagine the sweetest vintage dynamics with the most modern ass kicking aspects then you are on track with the new Rear Loaded Hemp Cone Cabinet.
